Wedding venues in Seattle?

Hi! My fiance and I are hoping to plan our wedding for next April (4/30/11) and we need suggestions on where we could hold a ceremony and a reception. We're hoping for about 150 guests and we'd like something that isn't too expensive or formal. Natural light, indie/vintage feel, etc. It also doesn't have to be in Seattle-proper. Thanks so much!!!

    I actually work up the street from Court In The Square in Pioneer Square and they can accomandate up to 300 people.

    Thanks guys! You are already so helpful. :) We have a budget of $30,000 TOTAL (so that included everything - dress, photographer, etc). Thanks!

    We're using the Rainier D.A.R. house which definitely has a turn of the 20th century vintage vibe to it. There's also the Georgetown Ballroom, which isn't on my map but I've seen it in lots of indie-ish wedding pics. Very hip-looking.

    Georgetown Ballroom came to mind for me too when you said "indie."  Maybe Lake Union Cafe also?

    Our budget is about the same. We selected the Edgewater which is gorgeous! Other places we looked at with a similar price point were Hotel 1000 (their ceremony is in a glass enclosed terrace which gave a great outdoor feel but with no weather worries), the Dome Room in the Arctic Club, and Seattle Harbor Club.
    I am like a falling star who has finally found her place next to another in a lovely constellation, where we will sparkle in the heavens forever

    I actually don't have any suggestions because I don't know the seattle venues too much and especially don't really know any indie seattle venues.......but I just wanted to say that April 30th is my birthday! So you picked a good day! Hahah.

    For a vintage feel, I recommend you look at the Arctic Club Hotel and Lake Union Cafe, both in Seattle.
