Favors?!

What are you all thinking of for favors? We have two ideas-- 1) personalized flower seed packets (if we don't use them for Save the Dates), or 2) mason jars etched with our wedding information and filled with my homemade chocolate chip cookies (FI's favorite!), along with a recipe card. I think we're leaning more towards #2.

I love both of your ideas. The seed packets are right up my alley, but I think the cookies would be awesome too! FI and I are having a relative make wine for us (as long as he's still willing). If not, I'm going to give each couple/family a quart of my homemade apple pie ala mode moonshine in mason jars.

@peachy13--We're also doubling our favors as place cards! Seems like a good way to save a little space/time/money.

@nicole4793--That's AWESOME! I would definitely do something like that, but we have some friends and family who don't drink or are in recovery.

We aren't doing favors either. Our reception will be small enough, that if we do anything at all, we'll do custom labels on our favorite alcoholic beverage at each seat. But that's IF we decide to do something.

Our wedding reception is at a baseball stadium (how kickass right?) so we are giving out cotton candy with a personalized sticker on it as favors!

We're doing little bags of candy - the bags have our names and date on it in a leaf. Our wedding is Oct. 30th so it's our only little piece of Halloween

Photobooth so everypne gets a photo strip and we also get a photostrip guestbook!

And popcorn bar at the end of the night in bags with a sticker with our names/date on it.

We are doing a candy table with treat bags (ours in on Halloween!), coasters etched with our names and wedding info, and I am personally making handkerchiefs for each of our guests! We are second lining in the French Quarter (New Orleans) in between our reception/ceremony! I'm so excited!

We are also doing mini pumpkins with place cards attached and we are doing matchbooks which say "the perfect match". I know it's corny but I like it. We are doing a sparkler sendoff so they can light their sparklers and I figured who can't use a little match box in the junk drawer?

We're doing personalized mini bottles of spumante. Those were one of the first things we bought for the wedding, and it goes with our Italian wedding theme.

After much discussion, we've finally come up with an idea that we both love! Cookbooks with 5 of our favorite original recipes! (Cooking is our greatest shared passion... we plan on opening a vegan restaurant together and our friends are always asking us for our recipes.)

Super cute @rusticbride27! We have decided to either do coffee beans (because each day we wake up together and start our day with a cup of coffee) or chocolate covered salted caramels (because we love chocolate!) We are leaning more towards the chocolates because we think it will be best received by all our guests. I am going to package them like this to tie in with our STDs that were also airmail themed.

We are doing Koozies, My FH always carries one, he has me hooked on them, (he handed me a cold beverage the other day and I felt his forehead and said you feeling alright.. there is no koozie..) both our families have collections of them. so it was an easy decision.. actually one of the first (when we first started dating his BM got married and he wasn't allowed to have them, and I said Koozies would be awesome, I think thats when he decided I was it) hardest part is deciding what to put on them. I believe we found one finally though.. only royal blue koozie, and sill gray writing.
