Holy crap, I just looked at my ticker and realized we're less than a year out.

I mean...just barely. We've still got a nice long time. But seriously. A year from right now...I'm be married. That's crazy.

On one hand I'm screaming "Too fast! Too fast! Slow down!" and then on other hand I'm like "Omg why did we pick a date so far out, lets just go get married now, we can still get our deposit back".

I want it to hurry up and get here but also take it's time.

"Than" is for comparing things.

You're comparing your time-frame to the time frame of a year. Yours is less THAN the length of a year.

I majored in English and writing so I had to know this stuff or I'd get tarred and feathered :P

I still mix up lay and lie, affect and effect, etc. English is a damn complicated language.
