Thanks to the storm, I am able to post about my dress and the BM dresses! We just went shopping for the BM dresses on Sunday- 3 out of 4 of my bridesmaids paid for their dresses. It was such an easy experience and they loved trying on all of the different styles. FI's sister wants to go back tomorrow to try on the dresses again and then she'll decide. The store will not place the order until everyone has paid a deposit or in full. Lame.
I spent months looking for a dress for myself. I probably tried on 30 dresses. I had my heart set on lace, but whenever I tried it on my arms would get scratchy and red. I couldn't imagine wearing it for an entire night, so lace was out. I found a beautiful mori lee dress that felt light and didn't have any bling or weird applique. I love how I can add accessories if I want to. I ordered it on Columbus day and it came in right after Christmas. Here are the pics from my first fitting:
I'm still thinking about ordering a sash or if I should just leave it alone. There are so many pretty ones on etsy to look at and it's hard to decide.
