What is the appropriate time to send out shower invitations? 4 weeks before the shower or more?

    Four weeks sounds about right. That should give the invitees time to RSVP, if required. Make sure the bride has finalized her wedding guest list and you're only inviting those who are invited to the wedding.

    I would say between 4 and 6 weeks before the bridal shower is a good amount of time. Where are you getting your invitations from? I used Shutterfly for mine and they were excellent!

    4 weeks is appropriate. Mayyyybe 5 if there are a bunch of people traveling, but I wouldn't go any more than that. 

    I also agree with @MariePoppy to just make sure that anyone invited to the shower is on the bride's actual guest list.
