I have been feeling so productive lately ! We have paid off our cruise (honeymoon) and DJ. Brought invites and STD , so we will be mailing STD's soon. Then yesterday we mailed out our photography contract and deposit. We also booked our venue. I feel like I've finally got a lot of the important things done. I also made our wedding favors. I had planned for these to be simple and it ended up being a lot harder once I got started , but I managed it and they turned out great !!

I also have a question. Our STD's are magnets from Vista print. They came with envelopes but I'm running in the problem with the size and printing on them. I really don't want to hand write them since my writing isn't the best looking and I preferred not to do labels. The size is A-2 ( 4.375 x 5.75 ). Does anyone have any suggestions ? I've looked online but haven't found anything to help me.

P.S. I have done this all while working and in the process of buying a house Smile

    Congrats! I ran into the same problem with printing on them and came to discover it wont work. I purchased clear labels and printed them and you really couldnt tell.

    Congrats on all your checks! I know ettiquete says that you shouldn't do labels, but I honestly think you should save yourself the pain of the printer and do clear labels. I plan on doing clear labels on mine too and I honestly don't think guests will think twice about seeing the label vs hand written/printed.

    There is no ettiquette rule about using labels for STDs.  Only the invitations are in poor taste to do that way.  So get out the labels girl!

    We also did vistaprint magnets! We just did wraparound labels, like the ones on Martha Stewart's site. I made my own template that matched our STDs and typed in everyone's name/ address.

    Way to go girl!! Your on fire! We also ordered large save the date magnets and I ordered personalized return adress labels with our first names and address and I'm just going to handwrite the guests names and address on the envelopes myself. I'm left handed and don't have the best handwriting either but I can make it work. Lol. Plus I don't have a printer at home. You and I are in the same boat! We're also looking to buy a house. Right now we are going to drive around and look for houses but either next week or the one after we are going to meet with the realtor again to check out different houses. It's sooo hard doing wedding planning while also in the process of home buying. Cheers to us for managing to do this while working full time jobs!
