ElegantWeddingInvites.com

Just some friendly advise.  DO NOT do business with this website.  Their invites look beautiful and the prices are amazing, but there is a reason for that.  They are very shady.  To make a long story short, they charged me $18 just for a sample!  Their prices were so amazing that I ordered one (yes, only 1) thinking it would be worthwhile in the long run because they are so cheap.  Well - never received it.  So I put in a claim with PayPal since they would not respond to my email.  Oh - and the phone number on the website goes straight to voicemail which says "The person you are calling is not available..." etc.  PayPal finally got a  DHL tracking number from the "company".  I went on the DHL site to track it, and "it' originated in China (where I'm pretty sure this shady business is, if it is still running) and ended, signature and all, in Leeds England.  Umm...I live in the United States.....

So don't be fooled by their pretty graphics.  I'm glad I'm only fighting over $18 bucks.  Save yourself some heartache girls, stay away from the rip-off!

:-)

  • In all fairness, the website pretty clearly states that the sample is $18.  You can't miss it.  Further samples are $3 each.  They also clearly state that, while a US company, they work with a factory in China.  You can find that on the "about us" page.  I personally wouldn't have ordered from any company that is shipping from overseas.  I'm sorry your experience wasn't good.

Just a reply - I new they were $18, I thought the actual invites were so inexpensive that I wouldn't have minded that so much.  I just never got it.  And who reads the "about us" all the time?  I will know better next time.  I wouldn't have ordered from them had i known the company was in China.  And there office is in Washington DC?  Yeah, right.  Shady.

Ummm, I do!  LOL.  I will even check around for reviews.  I would never just hand over my credit card info to an online store that I wasn't familiar with.  Anyone can make a legit looking website.  I try and do everything I can within reason to prevent my money from being stolen or worse, my identity stolen.
