Thinking of a short dress and want to see real life pics first. Bonus points if its a beach wedding! Thanks!

Mine's tea length in the front and longer in the back, if that counts. It's Galina, an inexpensive David's Bridal line.Here's the model in it:

I just didn't want to trip and I liked that my shoes would be seen.

I bought this short dress (clicky) and loved it but ended up finding one that suited me even better. The website has pictures of real brides wearing it.

I'm not sure of the designer but since it's a pretty simple dress, I'm sure you could find similar styles in a lot of places and just add a beaded belt if you wanted to. Have fun shopping!

I'm not sure - I bought it last June or so, so it might not be available anymore. They always seem to have a couple of the high--low ones right now though.

I'm not sure - I bought it last June or so, so it might not be available anymore. They always seem to have a couple of the high--low ones right now though.

I doubt they still have that particular dress... I wanted to try it on back in September, but they said it had already been discontinued. BUT I ended up with a tea length dress, despite thinking I would NEVER want a short dress! I tried on a few full-length gowns, and they just all felt so bulky. Considering I never wear long skirts in real life, I guess it's fitting that the tea length felt most "me".

This was originally Allure 8900. I have done my first fitting, at which my alterations specialist removed the train and hemmed it to 6" from the floor. There will be scalloped lace on the bottom once I set the final length (might go shorter, might not).

I already have a (long) dress, but I've been seriously tempted to get this one from Boden in ivory as a second dress because I love this company and the dress is super-cute! I don't think I want a separate reception dress (that's a bit overdoing it for my style), and our Friday night "rehearsal" dinner is way too casual for this (I'll probably wear jeans). I love the aqua color too, and may get it anyway just for not-wedding-related fun.

I'm wearing something similar to this for my beach wedding/elopement in June. The shoes will probably be blingy flat sandals.

Okay while I didn't end up going with this short dress for my beach wedding, this made it SERIOUSLY difficult not to. It's from Allure Bridal but not sure the style. It's everything I wanted for classic style in a short version. Not sure if you're looking for more flowy or formal.
