Wedding Gifts

This is going to be a two parter.

1. FI needs some help. What are you getting your groomsmen/ushers?

2. Are you and your FI exchanging gifts?

We got them custom etched flasks from a seller on Etsy and pre-filled them with the booze of their choosing.

    2. Are you and your FI exchanging gifts?

Yes, we did. I wanted a piece of jewelry that I could borrow to any future daughters or our nieces for their graduation/prom/wedding days, so he got me an awesome necklace. I got him the handguns he wanted. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" />

  • 1) He got his groomsmen ties to wear with the suits they purchased as well as these "army-like" bags with stuff picked out for each one.  He wanted to give stuff they would actually like & use (not flasks or a beer mug)

    2) We didn't really exchange gifts.  We decided that we would rather use that money to do something "special" on our honeymoon if the opportunity presented itself.  However, since we're both silly, we decided to fake "spend" $1000 on each other and present the "gifts" at the rehearsal.  So, I thought about what I would buy him if I was allotted $1000, and printed a picture/description and he did the same.  It was fun!

And then I bought him something he really wanted that we had registered for.
