Mini-moon in Minnesota?

We're in four other weddings this year and just don't have the vacation time to go on a honeymoon. I think we're going to do a one night mini-moon the Sunday after our wedding. Any suggestions? We'd love a bed and breakfast, preferably with a winery or brewery near by to visit.

    Any particular part of the state or within so many miles of "Point A" that you'd like to stay??? (with such a short window, best to stay close than spend a lot of time in the car)

    Definitely a good point. We're getting married in the twin cities, so hopefully no farther than a 1.5-2 hour drive.

    Stillwater is probably your closest bet since there are wineries, B&B's, activities in the area...  Otherwise, Red Wing (Stay at the St. James, and depending on when you're there, there's he Sheldon Theater..).  Afton (Often Afton Cruise Lines has a Sunday Champagne cruise on the St. Croix.  Afton House Inn is also a very nice hotel - the IL's stay there on anniversary trips, there's a lot of little shops there)...  Just into Wisconsin in Hudson there are a lot of nice hotels if you don't want to break the bank but you'd be centrally located between all three. 

    Obviously up by Tofte there's Bluefin Bay that is top notch but the drive is the kicker there. 

    Last summer a friend booked their mini-moon at a hotel overlooking Target Field which was neat because there aren't too many places with that kind of view.
