Creative Save the Date wording?

Hi everyone! Just getting ready to create Save the Dates, and looking for a more creative way to say "Save the Date." I like "This is happening.", but my fiance isn't wild about it. Any ideas for short phrases we could use instead? Thanks!

We had stick figures that said "See Tom." " See Addie." "See Tom and Addie get married."

My cousin's said "This just got real" then had their date at the bottom. I think simple is the way to go.

Why does it have to be creative? Just word them so that people can easily understand what, when, and approximat4ely where.

I don't like "it's finally happening" either to be honest. It seems like it took forever & he finally asked. Even if that is the case, don't need to rub it in his face.

That's exactly what we did (except no formal invitation to follow part since we figured people would assume that). The sticker that sealed the envelope said "SAVE THE DATE!" though to ensure people got the hint.
