NFP: Ur Doin' It Rong

It's 99% effective when used PROPERLY. Sht like this makes any of us who've practiced NFP successfully look like total morons.

Also, I just figured out that TTCAL is "after a loss", not Alabama.

MIL has had 5 pregnancies using NFP to avoid.  She's a little touched in the head, though (all right, a lot), so I'm sure she wasn't doing it right.

I don't know that it was that reliable until very recently, Kuus. It's only in the recent past that we've figured out temping to chart ovulation and such, so she could have been doing it right for the time. Remember, they used to think everyone ovulated on day 14 of a cycle, no matter how long the cycle was. There's a reason they called it "Roman Roulette".

She said she took temperature and judged the stickiness of her cervical mucus.  She says a lot of things, though.

I am not a Duggar Scholar, but they weren't practicing NFP, correct?  They wanted each of these children, right?

Kuus, maybe your MIL was a fan of NFP and JTT (spoiler alert: they make a bad combo).

Don't y'all know that NFP = "fck like bunnies and hope it doesn't take until you're ready for a behbeh"?

[QUOTE]i dont believe they practiced any sort of avoidance. they said that they let God decide how many children they have.

    Yeah, this is their claim.

I rather disagree w/ their logic, becuase ALWAYS stopping BFing at 6 months and humping like bunnies isn't 'forcing' her to get knocked up, it's obviously God's plan *eye roll*
