Did you guys see this one?

http://jezebel.com/5938313/having-a-baby-out-of-wedlock-kind-of-like-getting-pregnant-from-rape-says-senate-candidate

I yelled at DH last night (because he's the only white male Republican I can yell at) about how men (especially Republicans who are running for anything) need to STFU about rape, pregnancy, women, or anything related to any of those things because everything coming out of their mouths is moronic, disrespectful, and makes them look like totally clueless asshats (which they are, but they need to stop broadcasting it).

I'm pretty sure women getting pregnant come from an act with a man.  Why do men automatically get an out?

Keep it up, Republicans.  You're on your way to being the next Whigs.

No sh*t, kuus.  It's just RIDONKULOUS.  And of course they'll (repubs) claim it was all a set up.  NO, you just are showing your ass (as Ww would say).

I do sometimes wonder if it could be a setup, like secret Socialists infiltrating and saying things that are rigoddamndiculous to discredit the party.  I just don't want to believe that there actually exists a major political party, filled with actual politicians, who not only believe this stuff, but honestly think it's okay to say out loud.  Hell, I'd be claiming that it required too much suspension of disbelief if it were a movie.

I think it's all of their sins coming home to roost.

This is what happens when you allow religion to interfere in the way you run government.  There's absolutely no other reason to allow basic human biology (sex ed) and the theory of evolution (biology) lapse in education besides the Christian viewpoint being forced upon our education system and into popular science beliefs.

And this is the BS you get in return.

I, quite frankly, am enjoying the HELL out of this implosion.  I hope it makes the party split, so the Christian do-gooders can go be crazy over there and the Republicans can get back to making a platform based on actual governance and not on my or my husband's bodies.

I read a (brief) article today where Paul Ryan referred to rape as a "method of conception". I've peeked at the news off and on today; I haven't seen it referenced once...

I heard about that Wrong Paul statement, too.

I seriously don't want to live on this planet anymore.

with all of the great hair, marrying the high school sweetheart, complete with a "real marriage" not a "storybook marriage", has got to guarantee that Romney has at least 1 illegitimate child out there and possibly dresses in lingere.
