Cake recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for a wedding cake supplier. I'm looking for a two tier cake (bottom tier being artificial) as it only needs to feed 10. I have very specific ideas of what I want it to look like - appearance of the cake is more important to me than the taste. 
I've had quotes from Pastry Palace, Freeds, LV Custom Cakes, Drago Sisters, Gimme Some Sugar and our reception venue, Cosmopolitan. All the quotes are coming back around $140ish plus a delivery charge. Cosmo is $165 so I'm tempted to just go with them for an easy life. 
Anybody have any pics or experience of cakes from Cosmo? Or any of the other bakeries I've mentioned, or a completely different one?

    Drago Sisters!! We are local and get cakes from them often. I've recommended them on here a lot and several brides have used them - and have been very happy!! I can't comment on Cosmo cakes, it might be a good choice out of convenience but I would look around for some reviews on taste. Because... Cake.

    Knottie05827466 I am so sorry for not responding sooner!!! Just the desserts & cake from gimme some sugar was a total of 600ish, the cake stands I made them myself and shipped out and I brought the table cloth with me!

    We used LV custom cakes, our cake was delicious and was exactly what we asked for. Everyone loved the cake. We did a marble cake with mocha filling and a white cake with pear brandy and a barvarian cream filling.

    Went to cake tasting at Drago Sisters. Was great. Fiance did not want to look further! Booked them. Owner Doreen was very nice and helpful. Cake and combos were great.

    Love hearing this!! We are local and use them for all our special occasions, and when we just need something sweet and yummy. What flavors did you decide on???

    Omg too many! For our 6" topper we are doing vanilla cake lemon filling with lemon icing. Cup cakes- Carrot with salted carmel filling and cream cheese frosting, strawberry cake with strawberry frosting, vanilla cake with lemon icing, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and then this other one can not remember name, but it is dipped in cream. Oh and Key lime cup cake.  So good to hear someone local likes them. Literally had 3 other places to go and he said nope- this is it.

    Tres Leches!! We are doing a sheet cake of that too :) 

    We are doing a chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling and fresh strawberries, a vanilla cake with cannoli filling, and a red velvet with cream cheese.

    We were going to do the strawberry cake with white chocolate filling... but felt like red velvet was a more "crowd friendly" choice. Now you have me re-thinking the swap!!

    Yes!! That's it. We couldn't decide so doing all those combos. The carrot and salted carmel filling doesn't sound good, but omg it was soooo good.

    I love Gimme Some Sugar and their owner Ashley was just amazing! I can't wait to see my 3 tier custom cake! My fiancée is a huge Cavaliers fan, and they did LeBrons bday cake so he said of its good enough for LeBron, it's good enough for us! And much more affordable than I thought :)
