rooftop or roofdeck venue?

Ok this may be crazy but I would love to get married at night outside somewhere we can see the skyline lighting up.  Does anyone know of a place where that's possible?  I have been researching online but can't seem to come up with anything except the Continental.  I am planning to have about 120 guests.

I think the Philadelphia Visitor's Center in Center City (I think that's the name of the place I found it on a Knot venue search) has a rooftop deck area that looks over the historic landmarks in Center City. When I first started my search I looked into there, you have to rent all the furniture (tables and chairs) and use their caterer but it is a gorgeous view.

Top of the Tower in Center City has an amazing view.  The set up is a little odd but yoi can't beat the view

We went to a wedding that was on the roof deck of the Doubletree on Broad Street. The views were really really nice, although its awkward to get up there.

You can also rent out the Philadelphia Free library..they have a rooftop terrace.  I have contact info if you need it.  It was too small for us, but will fit your reception!

If you're willing to cross the river, the Adventure Aquarium in Camden has an outdoor balcony space where they hold ceremonies and cocktail hour... I believe they usually move indoors for serving dinner.  You can see the Philly skyline across the river.

The Franklin Institute has a terrace that has a great view of the city. It's was pretty pricey though from what I remember.

thanks for all the great suggestions!
  • Hello, do you still have the contact info for the Free Library?
