Bridal Salons with Plus Sized Bridal Gowns

Hi Ladies-
I'm biting the bullet and want to start trying on dresses.  I'm around 16W-18W and wanted to know if anyone had any luck with salons having plus sized samples instore to try on.  I'm going to start at David's Bridal but wanted to see if anyone else had any suggestions for shops around here.  Thanks Ladies!!

I am an 18-20 and got mine at Savvy and they have a nice selection of gowns in size 16+ that I could try (the one I picked was a sample size 16 that still gave me a good idea of how it would look on me).  It is a Maggie Sottero (Jessica - it was discontinued in the fall) - her corset backs are great for curves!  I also liked the selections at Amelishan and Beratti.  I did go to David's since they carry so many sizes, but I wasn't impressed with the fabric on their dresses.  Bliss does not carry larger sample sizes (I aksed when I was calling around to set up appointments) and the selections at Eva's and Kay's are very limited (Kay's owner is wonderful - was there for another wedding I was in, and I did not have a good experience at Eva's).

I went to Vera's in Madison. They had a great selection in plus sizes.

I only went to DB, and was very happy with them.  It was great to be able to try on the dresses in your size!

I have a plus sized bm.  We will be starting at David's as they told me they have every style in every size.  My other idea is Bridal Sweet on 90th and Greenfield. They are by appointment only.

Stone Manor in Cedarburg had a nice selection of plus sizes. A little higher end prices, in my opinion, but also nicer materials.

I didn't happen to see the plus size selection at Amelishan, but I would recommend their services, I've been very pleased!

I got mine at Eva's Bridal in Oak Creek, I too am a 16W/18W.  They don't have a huge selection, but I absolutely love my dress and their staff is very helpful!
