  We were staying at the Hale Koa. We haven't ruled out just paying the extra, FI will have to work more OT, but looking at other places. Are both of those hotels right on the beach?

  I've stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach twice. It's got a great location.

  Thanks....being so close to leaving the rooms we want are gone so we are just going to spend the extra money and stay where we are at. Hopefully they don't go up again!

  Hilton has 3 towers right on the beach.  They redid all their rooms too...we really enjoy it there.

  just got back from Waikiki, LOVED Sheraton Moana Surfrider. If I was getting married on Oahu and not Maui, this is where it would be at!
