I tried on the shoes at Nordstrom and liked them but had to think it over.. when I got home I didn't want to drive back because it's quite a drive! So I ordered them off Amazon.. I was supposed to get them Saturday when I hit the order button so I scheduled my dress measurements for today at 12:30, then I got an email update that they were shipping everything I had ordered together and it wasn't going to be here until today.. I have been staring out my window HOPING they arrived before the appointment since the place opens at noon and I didn't want to be THAT person who can't make it 1/2hr before.. THEY MADE IT! Super excited and I love them :) Just had to share my excitement! Anyone else get anything awesome for your wedding done this weekend?

    We need a picture.  You know this! 

    I had my first dress fitting on Saturday.  First time I had the built in corset laced up, and wow, that thing is a miracle worker.

    Ok, here are the shoes.. I'm getting married at a ski lodge in the winter in a ball gown so I went for comfort and ability to wear again!! I love boots!

    Very cool!  I am at work, so I can't post a pic, but when I get home I will.  I should have taken one at my fitting this weekend, but didnt think about it.

    I can't wait to see it! Update on my measurements.. sad day in the land of my chest ladies.. apparently my "bust" is so small it's not even on the chart.. yep, that was fun. So we had to go with smallest dress size and going to have to take in the top.. story of my life... and yes, the place was packed with appointments and the "awe how cute, she's so little" convo sparked lots of "boob" jokes.. good thing I like my small chest! One lady said "well after kids you can buy a pair", I shot back with "yeah, but then I'd have to wear a bra so no thanks!"

    FI mentioned to his mom that I didn't have anything 'old or borrowed' for the wedding and she offered to loan me the pearls his Grandma wore on her wedding day!!
