WORST wedding stories

Hey girls,

What is your worst wedding story?

Did the MOB get drunk and give someone a lapdance?
I want to know!

I am planning on posting the funniest one's on a pamphlet to entertain
guests as they are seated for the ceremony.

It will say something along the lines of how weddings don't always go as planned,
so don't worry if it gets a little crazy, here are some examples of how it can get crazy. .. etc.

Sorry, but my horribly embarrassing life experience shall not be fodder for your guests' amusement.

i don't really see why you need to entertain them at all pre-ceremony. People usually do just fine saying "hi" to friends and relatives and would find greater appreciation (i think anyway) in a ceremony that starts on time rather than some funny tidbit stories about people they don't even know.

I have a friend who got attacked by a swarm of killer bees as they were leaving the ceremony. Those bees tried to steal her thunder by getting married the same day.

I don't have any- but I'm sure you can google to find some.

In my opinion, I'm not a fan of the idea of putting wedding mishaps into a program. Do you have a bridal party? Maybe you can do a little blurb on each person. Like how you and your FI know them, how long, where you met- and maybe your favorite thing about them or a funny/good memory you have with them. I'd much rather read about that!

<div>I was thinking this. I like mbody's idea. It would be short, sweet, and simple without having my mind go straight to horrible wedding mishaps. IMHO if you act like nothing's wrong, then no one will notice or they'll laugh it off (if something goes wrong). If I read about mishaps while waiting for your wedding to start, I'd probably just think about dumb things that can happen at weddings.</div>
