AW, school-related

I know I've been totally MIA lately, and so an AW may be really not appropriate, but I'm so excited I basically can't handle it and I want to tell EVERYBODY...

I just finished the first complete draft of my dissertation and sent it to the committee.

Congrats! I know next to nothing about schooling outside of undergrad because that's as far as I went and plan to go but I know that's a huge step!

THANK YOU everybody! Today turned into a total cluster, so I'm just now getting back on here. My advisor said today I should be able to defend in the middle of next month. I turned in my graduation clearance form today!

And now I'm going to drink wine in the bathtub and pretend I don't have 40 exams to grade before Spring Break starts...
