Ceremony Help

FI and I are NOT religious AT ALL.. this actually made me nervous for the whole ceremony planning part of the wedding until my best friend got married and her brother in law performed the ceremony. We are going to visit FI's brother and sister in law this week and we plan on asking him if he is interested in officiating, we want to keep the wedding very personal and I have no desire to just bring in a random person to marry us. If all goes to plan and he wants to do it (no pressure on him, hoping he says yes though) does anyone have any good suggestions on websites to get templates for a non religious ceremony that is SHORT and to the point?

I don't have a website recommendation, but we used the book "The Wedding Ceremony Planner" and it has hundreds of suggestions.

There are all kinds of ceremonies to be found online. My husband just performed the ceremony for his best friend and her partner a couple months ago, and he just Googled for one.

We had to write our own ceremony as my Uncle officiated. I don't remember a particular website, but just googled it and found tons of idea. Then I took the pieces of each one I liked and created our perfect ceremony.

Hi - This is just the thread I wanted to see! I never go on here but have started to think about the ceremony. We will have a small wedding party in a restaurant (it might sound a bit weird but we are in Japan and it's quite common here), and a friend of mine will 'officiate'.
