Blow dryer recommendations?

I own 2...  One blows well, the other gets hot.  Any recommendations for reasonably priced blow dryers?

Re: Blow dryer recommendations?

  • I got the "Remington AC2015 T|Studio Salon Collection Pearl Ceramic Hair Dryer, Black" off Amazon (can't link from the app) and it's... idk, sufficient? I wasn't willing to spend a lot of money but it gets the job done better than my last two did.

  • The Jose Eber Infared Blow Dryer has changed my life.  I have long medium thick hair, and it can dry my hair in 10 minutes or less.  I got mine from amazon for about $100, and it has been worth every penny.

  • I'm a big fan of CHI or Rusk dryers. Right now, I have the Rusk Speed Freak (it's about 7 years old) and I love it. They're expensive, but totally worth it because they work well and last forever. You can buy them online or at Ulta.

I have a Remington also. I got it at Ulta for like $40. I don't know which exact one but it blows hard (yes, hahah) and gets pretty hot.

With that being said, it is so much better to blow dry your hair one medium to low heat and medium strenght. It doesn't cause nearly as much damage.

ETA: It looks like this one

  • I'm at work so can't say the brand, but I have one of those that has the ion-action. I was skeptical, like, oh really? Ions? Uhhh huh.... But, I have fine hair that frizzes easily and this dryer blows my hair a lot smoother than your standard $20 cheapie.  I'd recommend looking for something ionizing.

  • I have an older version of this Revlon (clicky). I've had the thing for YEARS. It's was fairly inexpensive so I can't believe it's lasted this long, but I love it. I have semi-thick and long hair and it works pretty quickly on the high setting.

  • I have a sedu Revolution Pro. love it! Worth every penny. I bought it for like 160 on Folica.
  • I have the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Portofino Hair Dryer.  It is life changing--I have long thick hair and this dries it in literally half the time as any other hair dryer I've tried.  It looks like it's available for around $100 on Amazon.  Not cheap but mine has lasted me 2+ years and the time I've saved on my hair has been priceless.
