  Your best bet for getting a discount on a legit designer dress are to either buy used, or try calling Pearl's Place.

  I found mine through preowned and had a remarkable experience. My suggestion to you is really know your size for your dream dress that you would order and stick to that or larger, don't even entertain a smaller size or your size but altered smaller. If you can try the dress on in person from a seller that's obviously more ideal but if not ask for pics of the bottom of the dress (where it gets most dirty), any rips/tears no matter how small, and as many pics as you can to examine it.
