Baby dreams

I had the weirdest dream last night that involved me breastfeeding twins. AND IN MY DREAM I WAS SO HAPPY.

But kids are not a current on-the-table discussion for FI and I right now, so it's a weird feeling. Do any of you other NOT TTC or not "kid" people ever have baby dreams and wonder?? I'm like is this a sign we should have kids sooner? Am I crazy? BABIES.

FI was not so enthusiastic and asked if I had heard from the dog breeder about our puppy LOL

    Yup, I had one the other night, but it's an ongoing debate in our house already.

    If you are looking to get a puppy, that's probably what the dream was actually about - the changing family and responsibilities.

    I mean, I've had dreams where I'm flying but I don't think I'm going to sprout wings anytime soon.

    Dreams about your future are probably just that. I wouldn't read into it.

    Several years ago I had a dream where I was pregnant with twins. It was terrifying and I swore I would neither sleep nor have sex ever again after like four of my friends told me they had pregnancy dreams shortly before conceiving. 

    ETA: We don't want kids. At all. Ever.

    Dreams about babies are generally understood to represent a coming change or something new, and possibly either anxiety or excitement around said new change.

    I've had baby dreams, and I've had a lot of dreams that I'm pregnant. I definitely do not want kids anytime soon. Not at all. But I've been having these dreams for years, and like lolo said, I've read that they represent other things that might be on your mind. Plus I also dream about shit like aliens trying to take out my spine. So in general, I don't put much stock in any of it.

    I have a lot of baby dreams. Mostly good some terrifying, like I found out five minutes ago I'm pregnant and the baby has to be delivered RIGHT NOW.

    I had one where I delivered the baby and the doctor misplaced it so FI bought me a new one in the gift shop. Apparently the dream hospital took all unwanted babies and sold them in the gift shop next to the teddy bears.

    Well that's convenient!

    I also used to have pregnancy dreams right before my period started. Hormones!

    I haven't had a lot but have had a few where I'm pregnant.  I agree it's a general change thing. Like, the other night I had a dream that H went out and bought an $80,000 car.  Pretty sure that had to do with some slight disagreements we've had about what to do with money, not that I'm actually worried he would do this. 

    One friend has them all the time, although they do want to TTC soon. It's always a boy, so she's sure first kid will be a boy.

    Another recently had a baby and had the crazy pregnancy dreams. She is super passionate about dogs, and had multiple dreams where she was nursing puppies.

    With one of my sisters, my mom says she dreamed she was carrying lobsters.

    I am kind of a little terrified of the dreams I'll have when I get pregnant. I haven't had a baby dream in a long time though so that's good.

    I haven't had any baby dreams ever. I have weird dreams though so it's probably a good thing.

    I rarely have dreams I remember anymore, but if I do they, thankfully, aren't about babies.  Last night I dreamed I was in the back of a pickup truck cruising down the highway and I saw the KITH in a truck next to us, I waved and they waved back.
