Ordering invites in SE Connecticut & Hair Salons near Westbrook

Hi Knotties, Hope planning is going well. I am a little stumped. I am looking for a place I can order wedding invites in or near Southeastern Connecticut. I have a hard time just looking at a magazine and ordering something from there. Definitally wish I was a DIY bride but I don't have a creative bone in my body. Also I am looking for a hair salon somewhere near by Westbrook, CT. Thanks ladies for your help!!

    I'm not much help on the invites since I made my own, but I can help with a salon near Westbrook.

    A friend of mine works at W Salon in Madison and their salon is awesome!

    We recently ordered ours through A Perfect Event (aperfecteventct.com)...we're still in the proofing process, so I can't give you a completed review, but they will come to your home with (lots of) books of samples/styles.  I really wanted to choose something that I saw in person too, rather than just seeing it online. 

    Their names are Diane and Heather, and their email is a_perfect_event@yahoo.com

    (P.S. I live in the SE CT area too, so I know they will come there!)

    idk about invites.. but I do know there is a awesome place in westbrook to get your beauty needs... It is called westbrook salon, ask for sheila or niki.... they are amazing!!!!!!

    I got my invites at Target.  The invites I picked had a design on them and then a vellum overlay (that you print on) and it was held together by a ribbon.  A couple of my friends were surprised that I did them myself.  Michael's has invites too but I felt like they were too plain and you had to add more to them and I'm not creative like that.

    Shear Madness (spelling) in Old Saybrook does a great job. Ask for Dawn. She did my hair when I used to live in that area

    J. Solomon's in New London is excellent, we just ordered ours there! Arrow Party rentals also have many books to thumb through.
