Bridal Shower Locations around JC

Hi Ladies,

I'm a former Knottie that is now MOH in my sister's wedding.  I'm having a hard time finding a bridal shower location around JC that fits the requirements.  I'm hoping you ladies have some ideas that I haven't though of.  Here is what we're looking for:

1) Brunch
2) Private Room
3) Parking (so Hoboken is basically out)
4) 35-40 people, budget is $30 pp

Thanks!

  • Battello? it's waterfront and they do  brunch
  • We tried Batello. It's a 3000 minimum. Way out of our price range. Thanks for the suggestion though.

  • Hey Hoboken! Have you looked at Amelia's Bistro? I think they might fit your needs and their brunch is out of this world delicious. You could also try Park and Sixth at their grove street location. We had our e-party there when they were still The Merchant and the back room there is really nice.

  • Hi JC. We looked into Amelia's. Their shower menu is limited and I don't think what they are offering will please a lot of people. I will look into Park and Sixth.

    Ps: How are you?

  • Hi! How about Johns Pizza? My friend had a party in their upstairs room but parking was limited too...
  • I went to a baby shower at Battello. It was really nice. One of my all time favorite restaurans is Amanda's in Hoboken. It looks so small from the outside but they have a gorgeous party room in the back of the space. I'm not sure how many people it holds but I highly recommend reaching out to them.

How can you come back here after some time away and not at least have an update photo of the baby?  ;)
  • I checked Amandas for my rehearsal dinner and the prices are around 60pp...

Lol I"ll work on that right now. I hope I still remember how.

Eta: I forgot that I can't do it on my iPad. I will try at work tomorrow.

  • If your willing to travel to Bayonne, I know there are a few places that might fit the bill.

I live in Bayonne but didn't come up with anything. Where are you thinking? chandelier is out because you have to get your food off the public line and carry it to the private room.

Really?  Everytime I've been to a party there, the buffet was always set up in the private room.

Not for Sunday brunch. Otherwise I would have already booked it.

  • Gotcha.  What about Bon Appetito?  They don't have a private room, but I do know that they sometimes close for private parties.
