reception question

I am wanting to have a simple cake and punch reception, but it won't start until 4 in the afternoon. Even if I put in the invites that it's a cake and punch reception, is 4 pm too late?

    What time is the ceremony? Will there be a large gap between? 4pm does seem a bit late for that type of reception, but you could make it work

    If you have the reception immediately following your wedding ceremony, I don't see a problem with a 4 PM cake and punch reception as long as you aren't expecting guests to stay for a long period of time.

    BTW - I hate, hate, hate the new format of the boards. I can never get them to load properly.
