Thursday, I went out and drank wine with H and my brother.

Friday I literally did nothing all day.

Saturday I cleaned and ran errands. Then H and I went out to dinner with my friends and we ran into my ex.

Sunday, we had Easter breakfast at my Gma's. It was carb heaven - bagels, muffins, donuts, French toast casserole.

Then we went home and tiled the bathroom.

Well, I got off work on Friday and was like:

Had to pick some wine for the wedding since we're getting married at a winery, we thought maybe we should have some wine? Curious thoughts.

After wine tasting, we decided to go and try out the new rooftop patio bar:

After that.. Sunday came:

So we just watched movies all day and didn't drink. Needed to dry out a bit.

Friday we went shopping because we had a wedding Saturday and DH has gotten too big for his dress clothes, so he needed an outfit.

Saturday I started packing up my house to move.

Then Saturday night was my really good friend's wedding. You know, I never really got emotional at weddings before but this was the first one I've attended since my own. It felt so different to me having gone through it, I really connected more with the emotions so I was all...

Then yesterday, we don't celebrate Easter so we napped and made bacon cheeseburgers. But then my best friend called me (the one I mentioned in the other thread about cheering her up) and her parents are flying her home for Greek Easter next weekend. So I'm-

Friday at work I got to deal with the last chapter in the saga I like to call, "Fluttering's work computer made her change her password on Thursday and suddenly everything went to shit and nobody in IT knows how to fix it except to make her change her password and restart her computer about a billion times"

After work I canceled my gym membership and went to mail our Save the Dates finally!

Then FI came home and I made dinner. Our weekend together had a rough start for reasons I won't go into, but Saturday morning we had a good talk and made amends. Always a nice feeling.

I also FINALLY beat Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. Any KH fans in the house? The new battle with Roxas was so frustrating I ragequit on it for months but finally beat it Saturday morning with the help of a well-written strategy website. It was hard to find one. All the others were basically, "Try not to let him kill you." But this one helped me take it slow, steady, and smart, and I finally beat him, then went on to finish the game.

After I finished I went for a run. At this point it was about 3 in the afternoon. I don't know if you've ever gone for a run at 3 pm in Florida in April without being proper hydrated, but I now have experience and I can't say I recommend it. After my shower I felt so ill I basically had to lie in the empty tub for about ten minutes. Picture this but no water or veil:

Finally got some water and electrolytes in me, and just as I was starting to feel human enough to get some dinner with FI, he got called in to work. He had to go to two places, both far away, one in another freaking county, and both things were complete duds. So finally we admitted defeat and had to eat dinner separately, me near the house and him in the county he'd been sent to. Artist's rendering of me eating all lonely-like:

Sunday was much improved. We began with sleeping in and then Mexican food for lunch.

Then I did some writing while FI worked on a video project. We ended the day with Bar-b-que and Breaking Bad.

And then we came full circle this morning, when it turned out the fix the IT guys proposed did not work, and my computer is still having issues.

Friday I was running errands with Mom.

Saturday H and I did absolutely nothing besides finish Persona 4

And Sunday I did nothing.

Friday was my second dress fitting!!! And I loved the way the dress looked on me so I felt all

Then Friday night, we went to Long Island for a party at FI's cousin's house. I had a few cosmos there.

Saturday, FI and I went to brunch, and then I went into lazy Saturday mode.

We went to the movies Saturday night, and watched "It Follows." Creepy, yet weird movie. Yesterday, we went to FI's grandma's for Easter, and when we got home I made an Old Fashioned and watched the Madmen premier!

Friday was our last park day, and we spent lots of time in Harry Potter Land. I was stupidly excited for that

We did the HP ride as singles and at the end of the night, so there was very little wait time today.

Then, we spent the afternoon at the pool

Saturday, more pool, though I spent all the pool days under the umbrella so I wouldn't burn.

We drove back to Miami. Sunday was

It was the only flight home yesterday from Texas, so I should be surprised, but I knew 3 other people on my flight, including another teacher from my school, and saw an old boss in Customs when we arrived. It was a big reunion day for me

Today is unpacking and laundry. DH is back at work already, so I figure it's the least I can do, if I ever get out of bed.

Early Friday morning I was on the bus on my way to see A:

Then we met and while we were both nervous, it was pretty great and exciting:

Then she gave me these adorable envelopes to open at different times, for instance the one is "when you need a smile" and American History X (I had to part with a few movies which I was sad about and I had mentioned it to her a while ago and she actually got them and sent them to me, which I wasn't expecting at all, and this one she didn't get in time to mail it to me with the others I suppose). She's such a sweetie:

Then we chatted and held hands and watched TV:

She tried making this recipe but she deemed it was not edible so we ordered pizza instead:

On Saturday we cuddled and watched movies:

Mmm and she made GF spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread for dinner with coconut custard for dessert (she had originally wanted to make a coconut cream pie but she couldn't find GF pie crusts):

On Sunday we just cuddled some more and talked until I had to go catch my bus:

Then when I got home my mom had a late Easter dinner:

I flew into Memphis on Thursday and we drove to Louisiana on Friday.

We got to my aunt and uncle's house around cocktail hour and had lots of drinks before heading out to dinner with them. They are the best ever.

The next morning we met with the preacher who is marrying us for our last counseling session and he didn't even counsel, so we were all,

So we went to the restaurant that's catering our wedding and almost died from overeating.

The next day I had to fly home and I HATE flying. I was already sad to leave FI and that coupled with "I'm gonna die" feelings were too much. But then I got on my plane and saw her get on.

I did something very similar. The owner and I and the plant manager have a meeting with the lawyers today and I totally forgot. We're a very casual office, but I spaced and wore jeans and flats and a cardigan sweater. Whoopsie!

I got food poisoning on Thursday so Thursday and Friday were pretty terrible.

I managed to go shopping at Ikea with some friends.

But then went home and started marathoning Veronica Mars because I still wasn't feeling too great.

I went to church for Easter Sunday

and then went to brunch with some friends but since my stomach is still sensitive I couldn't eat all the yummy brunch food.

Friday I cleaned house and then treated myself to ice cream

Saturday I went and got my nails done and went shopping with my girlfriends. It was so relaxing and definitely much needed. At lunch I had a little too much wine and may or may not have had to ask H for forgiveness on how much I spent on clothes!

Sunday we went over to my aunt's house and had Easter dinner. It was nice to be around family. I ate way to much and ended up falling asleep at 7 last night.

My weekend?! Oh geez, lemme tell ya'...

Friday H and I attended our friend's rehearsal dinner and ate till we felt sick.

Then a few of us went out to a bar:

Unfortunately 2 of the groomsmen drank too much and got ARRESTED

Only one got released in time to make the wedding.
I felt really terrible for the bride and groom, but it was a beautiful wedding and they seemed very happy.

We danced the night away

did the sparkler thing...

helped clean up till 1:30am

Then went home and passed out

and celebrated Easter with my family on Sunday
