Favors

Candles or hot chocolate

So what do you think about giving homemade candles as favors? They would be in small glass containers or in mason jars if I can find them soon enough. And I would use different scents. Since I work at a craft store currently I can get the supplies cheap.

My second idea was hot chocolate in mason jars. We haven't set a date and so I'm not sure if the wedding is going to be in July/August or September-December. Obviously hot chocolate would be for later in the year.

But which would you rather get?

Hot chocolate in mason jars for me.  I would love that.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

Hot chocolate...if it had some sort of special flavor, like mint added!

If it ends up being a summer wedding instead, a switchup to lemonade mix in the jar isn't difficult either :)
