Don't want to VagueBook: Good news!

DH just texted me some very exciting news and I feel like I'm going to pop if I don't tell someone.

Quick background: DH is in his last semester at college and has been interviewing for jobs the past couple of weeks. Some of the jobs would require us to move, which we didn't necessarily want to do but obviously would if it was the best career choice for both of us.

DH got a job offer at an amazing golf course only 30 minutes from our house! This course was his number 1 choice if they offered. He hasn't officially accepted the position yet because he has to go in tomorrow afternoon to accept and file paperwork, so I can't post my excitement on Facebook or anything. I'm trying not to VagueBook, so I wanted to share here!

It's a Monday and I just cried from happiness, relief, and excitement!

    That's wonderful! Congratulations!

    Last week was tough for me, but this week is getting off to a good start because I just mailed all the STDs (and hand-delivered some to my coworkers--FI and I get a kick out of me saying I gave the whole office STDs ;) ) so I treated myself to a Starbucks cake pop. :)

    Congrats girl!!  That's awesome news!!

    My awesome news is that TK just gave me my 7th anniversary badge!!!   I've been here way too long.  ;)  Yeah, I've got nothing.  My grad application is still pending.  Deadline was last week, so I should be hearing something soon

    My good news is vicarious--Wisconsin is playing in the NCAA championship tonight! Watched the game against Kentucky at an alumni bar and had a wonderful time, but now my liver needs a break.

    Yay!!!! Congrats!

    My Monday good news is that FI doesn't have to leave for work this week! He travels more or less constantly, and we had a three day weekend at home, all alone! That hasn't happened in more than a year. If he's not working it's because we have plans and we have to go somewhere and do things. I feel so refreshed, even if we spent the entire weekend eating cheesecake and drinking.

    That's awesome! Uncertainty is the worst, so I'm glad y'all have some resolve. Celebrate!

    I'm full of good things today. 

    We're 25 days out from the wedding and we finally got official approval to be married in the church this weekend. FI got a call to inform him of a promotion on Friday. We close on our house next week and my last day of work is also next week. 

    Everything is coming together!

    That's good news!

    We went to a fantastic concert last night so I'm still feeling good from that, if a little more tired than on your average Monday.

    We also had amazing ski conditions all weekend in the mountains, so much snoooooooow. FI and I skied from 9 - 4:30 and were pretty much the first people on the gondola in the morning and the last ones up in the afternoon, both days, and it was great. I'm getting thighs of steel this season, haha.

    I am amazed that some places are still getting snow! I mowed my yard on Friday. 
    Our ski resort got 34 cm overnight yesterday. Winter is definitely not over up here...

    YAY! That's so exciting!

    My good news is that FI has applications out for three places, and I've figured out what I'm doing if he gets an offer to the nearest one. The two farther ones are definitely quit-and-move, but the nearest one was within my "drive time" limit for keeping my job and just having one of us visiting on weekends. But we've swapped it from a drive-time based one (3 hours) to a mileage based one (150 miles one way) and the nearest is outside that range. Is it a stupid thing to be excited about? Yeah. But I get excited about stupid things all the time so one more is okay.
