What is everyone working on/stressing over right now? For me, it's assembling and getting our invitations out and finding a place to get my hair done the day of.
Just preparing for the million little things that will inevitably come up in the next two months.
I just had a craft weekend and I finished up my programs and made these
Pintrest at it's finest! They were a pain in the ass to figure out how to make, but the effect of them in the sun is lovely. I love lace! I'm going to make a string of little ones for the head table and larger but different sized ones for under the gazebo that we are getting married in.
I have been pretty on top of things and I have a lot of help from my mom and sisters and my best friend. They are more into my wedding than I am! My FI also is helping way more than I thought he would.
I did have my first bridezilla moment yesterday. I got a text at 2am from a college friend that she was coming to my wedding and the text was her RSVP. I texted her back that she needs to send back the little postcard RSVP I made and I already paid postage. I know it doesn't really matter but something about that really irritated me. I worked hard on those RSVP's. She's planning a wedding right now too, so I don't understand her being flippant about it.
Mine isn't until June 27, but I'm just gathering centerpiece stuff and yesterday I got a pen to start addressing invitations.
It looks like I'm going to need to email my FMIL to tell her I didn't want her to ask her nieces to be in the wedding, since I'm not having a wedding party and don't want the candles she has asked them to light in the church. That should be fun.

She went ahead and asked for you without making sure it's what you want? Poor nieces, I hope they don't know yet.

Oh yes. We talked about the church candlesticks, and she said we should have these girls (8 and 11) light them before the wedding, and I said something along the lines of "we'll see" which is my standard answer. Especially because the candlesticks are pretty ugly! All of a sudden the grandmother is asking what I want the girls to wear!
She also asked FI's cousin to be "back up best man" in case his brother doesn't make it. So now he wants to know what color to shirt to wear, but I was also informed he only has a black suit so he will be wearing that. Black was never in the plan for anyone, even though FI has still not chosen a suit!
I would just leave it except that I was specific about not having a wedding party, just witnesses really, and now she's asked all these people and my family is like "WTF? Why nobody from our side?" so that's mainly why I need to back it on down again... besides the heinous candle sticks.

I am mostly getting details set in stone and deciding on little things. I wish I could work on my invitations but that seems forever away since they havent arrived yet.... they were supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago -.-

AWKWARD.
