E-Save the Dates?

I've created an email save the date through Paperless Post and I'm ready to hit send. One thing I realized is that when each guest opens up their email, an envelope pops up with their name and opens to our photo and information. Do I address this portion formally? What's the recommendation? I have searched everywhere and haven't found much info. on e-save the date etiquette.

Just say who's invited - i.e. Mr. and Mrs. Jones; The Jones Family; Sally Smith and Jerry Jones.... Or am I missing something?

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it should read like a formal invitation:

i.e. Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Darling

Gotcha. Address them how you plan yo address invitations. If you're going for the most formal wording, you'd use your example. If not, you can use a less formal salutation.

Or whatever people prefer - I know people to cringe at Mr and Mrs John Smith and I know people who are insulted if their addressed any other way. Know your audience.

Just beware that someone can forward your STD to a person who isn't invited. Which could cause hurt feelings or an awkward conversation.

I don't think you can forward a paperless post. I believe guests have to be invited by the original host. However I have never (and would never) taken it upon myself to invite friends to a party that I wasn't hosting.
