Re: Flower girl dresses

  • I think it depends on what your BMs are wearing (color and style). With our knowing that, I would go with any of the white ones. The daisy one if things are on the more casual side.
  • How old is the flower girl?  I'm not really a fan of spaghetti straps for little girls.  I like the 3rd one the best and think it would be great for a little girl who wants to be princess and then the 2nd one is cute too and I think would be great for a girl about the age of the stock photo
  • If you're fine with any of these, would you consider letting the flower girl choose? It might make her feel really proud to know she had a say and chose her own dress.

  • I don't like all white on flower girls, so I'd vote for the sequin dress or the last one.

The second one you posted looks super sheer. I'd be leary of that.

Otherwise, I like Southernbelle's suggestion of letting the flower girl pick.

  • Let the flower girl choose!

I'm not a huge fan of all ivory or white flower girl dresses  (my FG's are in fuchsia), so personally I lean towards the pink and gold options you selected.
  • I like #3 but I would definitely ask your flower girl what her thoughts on the dresses are.

Yeah, at six, I would definitely let her pick. But I also have to say that I love the fifth one down.

  • I like #2 & #7. I think the sequin once is nice, but too much for a garden ceremony, The ones with the spaghetti straps done scream to me, sweet young flower girl. The pink one is ok, but says more "easter" instead of "flower girl" to me. I think what your BM wear also needs to be taken into consideration. They don't have to match, but the Flower girls style of dress should compliment the BM or at least your dress.

mine is 6 too (just turned it a week ago) and her's is similar to #3 down the list.  To be honest she is so excited to be a flower girl that any dress would have been great.  She had initially said she wanted a long princess dress so I chose one that was tea length and had sort of a princess/ballet/tulle bottom and a little sparkle on top and she loves it.
  • #3 and #6.

  • I like the 3rd one.
  • I like the second last one but only if it would be in a colour instead of white. I'm not a fan of the "mini bride" thing that happens with flower girls so I am putting my flower girl in a bold colour instead of white. I do like the third last one because it has colour (it would be great with actual colour though).
