Ball gowns and photos?

I'm looking for those of you who either plan to wear a ball gown or have worn a ball gown to see what your experience has been with photos- did having a poofy ball gown make it difficult for you to be closer to your groom in pictures, or in general? There's just so much poof! I'm a little worried about the impact it may have, silly as it may sound.

My sister wore a poofy dress, and they didn't have any trouble. As long as you've got crinoline instead of a hoop skirt, the poof will displace nicely

This. If you Have a hoop skirt I think dancing Will be any even larger problem. Crinoline is NBD
