What veil length should I get?

So I bought my dress. It is this beautiful white and claret Alfred Angelo dress.

As you can see, there's detail on the bust, and the back is a corset. I have a tattoo on my left shoulder that I'll be bedazzling to make it sparkly and really stand out, but still classy. I bought a really sparkly tiara to wear as well.

So I'm really lost on what length to get? The wedding itself is formal. I was considering a cathedral length veil because those are just really pretty, but with the length of the train on the dress, I wasn't sure if that would be overkill. Should the dress or the veil be longer in this case? What would look nice? Any thoughts would be great! Thank you!

I would suggest a fingertip length to highlight that spectacular train on the dress.

I think I would skip a veil (unless you're really sold on it). Between the detail on the back and wearing a tiara, I think it might take a away from the look.

Yep, just the tiara. If you're really super set on a veil, I'd have to suggest going with one around the same length of the dress; if it's spread out across the train, it shouldn't obscure it too much, but cutting off anywhere down the length will detract, and wearing one shorter than the back of the dress won't match the formality.

I think your dress stands out too much for a lot of bling! Try going with a sparkly headband and a simple necklace/earring combo. Please let your tattoo shine naturally!

Something like this brings out a little sparkle but isn't too crazy.

Welp, I would suggest not bedazzling your tattoo or wearing a tiara. Makes the whole thing seem less "wedding" and more "middle school dance".

As for a veil, I would go with fingertip.

Sorry, I just really don't think bedazzled tattoos and classiness are two things that can coexist. I'm all for tattoos, but bedazzling it would detract more from your dress than any veil would and make me think of those stick-on gems girls wore to prom in 2001.

I would go for a floor-length veil (the same length as your dress or longer) with a plain edge or crystal beading if you still want some sparkle. It will be sheer enough to still see that detail you like without cutting it off unnaturally.

IMHO, the only people who should wear tiaras are beauty pageant winners and royalty and nobility who are entitled to wear one. A classic, sheer veil wouldn't detract from the dress.
