NWR: My Poor Car

Hey ladies,

Just needed a place to rant about my poor car. Two weeks ago, it was it in my apartment parking lot, no note. 

Last week, my radiator cracked and I had to get that replaced. I also got the sad news that oil is leaking into the radiator fluid, which means I have only about 20k miles left on the car...

Now, this morning it was broken into. Car lock smashed, money and items taken. The lock was smashed in a way that the door now doesn't unlock and I can't open it. Of course, its the drivers side...

Ugh, just needed to get that off my chest. Please tell me some good news!!

    I just had to fix my car that was leaking oil into the coolant. I was lucky my FIL is a mechanic and he was able to fix my car for the cost of the parts. He had to clean out where the coolant goes, replace the gasket that was leaking and replace all the hoses that were damaged because of it. I definitely feel your pain on that one.

    Thanks ladies. I'm about one more incident away from buying another car! I have an old one... 1999 Honda.

    Getting the locks re-done today and tomorrow. Hopefully this will all be behind me soon :P

    Two dollars in change in the change drawer for metered parking. It wasn't visible, they just ripped out my change drawer and I'm thinking by where it was located, they threw it angrily at the lack of cash in there.

     Edit to add: Am I horrible for smiling at the possibility that they got angry by the lack of valuables?
