OT: Unsolicited Baby Picture

Thought you ladies might enjoy this one - Kidlette has my Magpie Syndrome already! I was trying to get something from the other side of her car seat when she reached out and started playing with my bangles:

Aww that is too cute! I love it! (and your bangles, too!)

Side note - I had to look up what magpie syndrome is. I had no idea that it was called that!

    That's adorable!

I also didn't know what it meant... for some reason I thought it had to do with taking small things (like magpies do) and I was wondering how those tiny hands could manage lol!

Sorry! That term is pretty well-known around here and I didn't realize it wasn't quite so common elsewhere!

Oh, forgot to mention - raangoli, I got the bangles at JC Penney. They're cheapy little  metal things, something like $10 a set of 14, but they make that pretty little tinkly sound I like and apparently they make greatbaby toys, or something, lol.

Planning on getting some glass ones to play with before the wedding. I have red metal ones, but I want to see if I can get away with glass. Family reunion in Orlando next weekend; I might see about stopping in at Beachcombers Bazaar while we're there and trying a few on for size.

Good find on the bangles! I love glass bangles, too. You reminded me of all the ones I bought on a trip to India a few years ago. They are thicker and look more like jade bracelets. I should rock them with my summer outfits. I like the sound they make when they hit each other.

    Tangent Warning:

The thing I love buying the most in India is bangles. So many different colors, designs, types and so cheap! They make nice little souvenirs for yourself and for friends, too. Today I am wearing a thicker cuff type bangle that I bought in Delhi for about $2. For two ;)
