suggestions for venue for 60 guests in surrounding areas

Hello everyone, we just started looking for venues for our Oct 2015 wedding. We asked a few places and they all have a minimum of 100 people. So I wonder if you have suggestions for around 50-60 people.

We hope:

1. outdoor ceremony

2. romantic setting, like lakeside or mountain view

3. within 3 hours drive from NYC, could be in Hudson valley, long island, or New Jersey. We would prefer to do it in suburbs rather than in the city.

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

    Hi! So, I've been emailing venues over and over with a similarly-sized list (we're capping it probably around 55), and one place outside of the city that did not turn its nose up at my small list (and there were a looot of places that did) was Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie:

    You can opt to have your ceremony indoors or outdoors, and the estate looks pretty lovely! Good luck!

    Look into Highlands Country Club, which is about 1 hour's drive from New York City. If you call, ask for Danielle West and let her know Renae (of Beauty and the Details) referred you.
