  this is true. i lock my doors when we are near the (mostly white) high school. and i do feel terrorized by our neighbors' kid's lacrosse balls.

  korean me has a masters' degree; white dh does not.

  
  

  of my parents' friends, i know only two that are divorced; most have been married around 40 years.

  of my asian friends, i don't know any of them that are divorced.

  of dh's asian friends, i don't think any are divorced, but i could be wrong.

  of all of our white friends, i can think of at least 3 divorced before 30 and then 8 divorced after 30.
