Hi all!

I was planning on sending notes back to all of the guests but wasn't sure what to say to the folks who didn't give a gift.  Is wording like "I'm so happy you were there to share our day" or thereabouts  sufficient?

    Agree with LL. You thank your guests for coming in person at the reception because that's what it's for.

    Agree with PPs- the reception is the thank you to the guests for coming to your ceremony, and the thank you notes are (obviously) to thank those for any gifts.

    If they didn't give you a gift, don't send them a note.  Presumably you thanked them for attending at the reception.

    Whoa!!!  Yikes!!!!!  I'm so glad I asked!  I totally wasn't trying to do the "reminder" thing at all.  OK.  I'm so so so glad I asked!  Thank you ladies!!  :)
