venue suggestions for a 60 guests wedding?

Hello everyone, we just started looking for venues for our Oct 2015 wedding. We asked a few places and they all have a minimum of 100 people. So I wonder if you have suggestions for around 50-60 people.

We hope:

1. outdoor ceremony

2. romantic setting, like lakeside or mountain view

3. within 3 hours drive from NYC, could be in Hudson valley, long island, or New Jersey.

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Bear Mountain! I had 75 guest there, at the Overlook Lodge. Their min was 65 guests. The Lodge has an area overlooking a lake along with river views for the ceremony.

I suggest you look into the King Mansion at the Tarrytown House and Estate. We are using the King Mansion for our afternoon reception and have 55 guests in total. They also have outdoor space if you want to do a ceremony on the grounds.

This is the perfect thread for me.

My fiance and I are having a very intimate wedding. 20ish on each side so no more than 45 guests. I have looked into Tarrytown House/Estate but would love some more options. I am looking for castles/mansions/historic sites in Sleepy Hollow or near Sleepy Hollow. Any other ideas? And any that will take a small wedding party like us?
