I posted in A&A last week because I had tried on a Mori Lee that I had been crushing on for so long, and I really liked it, but I had this urge to go out and justtt make sure that I wasn't missing anything. I'm so glad I did!
I went out with my mom, dad, and BFF to two more appointments yesterday, and the first one was a total bust. This is the third dress I tried on at the second appointment of the day, with a consultant that I absolutely adored, and I had the crying-with-BFF-in-the-dressing-room-and-then-with-Mom-and-Dad-in-the-showroom moment.
I'll be wearing Maggie Sottero's Marianne, which is actually a super light blush (!!!) with an ivory lace overlay to tone down the pink even more. It's a January wedding, and the colors are grey and frost blue, with white, light purple and baby pink as accents.
I'm freaking out, you guys. The size I tried on in store (she actually pulled it off a mannequin) was my exact size, including the length because it's a petite cut. She almost sold me the sample but the manager wouldn't let her because it was brand new to the store, I guess. The bust needs to be altered so it's not so pointy at the top, and I'd like to be down maybe 10 - 20 lbs., but I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
When my dad came back from putting down the deposit, he surprised me by saying he had bought the belt too! I'm so happy.
