Ahh, after all that planning, the wedding day finally arrived! It was such a whirlwind, and then back to reality for a couple weeks while I finish up the school year before heading to the beach (with my in laws, so a great vacation, but not quite a honeymoon!) It's funny; I didn't think it would be too different since we've lived together so long, but we are totally sickeningly sweet newlyweds. I've never seen H so happy!!

Overall the day was great. The food was awesome, bar was great, the dance music and lights were awesome, the flowers around the venue were just insanely beautiful (no pics of them yet, though

)
There were only a couple hiccups, but they were really disappointing. First, the DJ left the ceremony speaker sitting in the sun and it fucked up and I had no processional music. What's worse, is it started playing all distorted and he didn't cut it right away.
But the worse thing was that my coordinators--after I had a specific conversation letting them know people needed to be able to sit at their dinner tables during cocktail hour--tried not to let anyone sit, including my grandmother with alzheimer's, and they proceeded to argue with my great aunt about a damn chair. They also told guests they couldn't talk to me immediately after the ceremony (we made a circle around the venue back to the altar for photos and ran into guests along the way), and I just generally had several comments made to me about, "What's up the coordinator's ass?" Oh, AND 10 minutes before the ceremony, they told me there was traffic and I should push the ceremony back 20 minutes. I pulled up the traffic app and the traffic was so far away that if anyone was in it, they weren't making it any time soon. We started on time!
I also got really, really, really sick the day before the wedding and missed my own rehearsal, but that's its own post
