David's bridal invites, yay or nay?

I am wondering if anyone has used David's bridal for their invites? Reviews?

I'm hoping you get an answer because they have two invites I absolutely love and they are super reasonably priced. Have you seen that you can order samples? Might be an option if you can't find specific feedback.

David's has also sent me nice discounts when I put things in my cart but don't check out. Worth a try.
  • I used them for my Save-the-Dates and was very pleased.  I almost went with them for my invites too, but couldn't find a style I liked. I was looking for a modern, yet very simple design.  I ended up going with Wedding Paper Diva because they had a 30% off promo code. I compared the prices between DB and WPD, and in the end it was like a $50 difference.

  • I used them for both my STD magnets and wedding invites. They were both very nice and reasonably priced.
  • Our invitations were from DB. I loved them.

  • I ordered a handful of samples, and while the paper quality is fine, the printing on their "thermography" invitations is a little iffy. The lines appear less crisp than I'd like, and I can't quite tell if it's a flaw in the printing or if it's just light hitting the 3D text at different angles. Their letterpress and standard printing seem fine. And I should say that the iffiness on the thermography is unlikely to deter me from ordering invitations printed that way. They are crazy reasonable and I like the design and I'm probably just being too critical.

  • Mine are from DB and I am really happy with them as well as their customer service.

I didn't have the same experience with the bridal store customer service but when two of my envelopes weren't right they re-made them and sent them out to me asap!

My advice is get the proof for $10 and go with it! They're great quality as well.

  • I got my invites from DB and was really pleased with the quality. Everybody has loved them.
  • We just got ours, send and seal from DB. They turned out great! We paid for the $10 proof and glad we did, we went back and changed things twice before approving them. When we had to call and make changes they were super helpful. They also arrived pretty fast.
