Made my programs this weekend!

I love being on Christmas break (I'm a teacher), I've gotten more wedding stuff done this week than I have in 3 months lol!

This was very easy to do, and pretty cheap! Ordered the two sides from Vistaprint with a Groupon and double stick taped them together.

On the back is a thank you message and at the bottom is says "We hope it's not too hot outside, but you look amazing...seriously. Here's a fan in case you might need it." (It's an outdoor ceremony in June in Phoenix).

I've been to Phoenix in June and it's pretty miserable. And I'm a lifelong Texan who can tolerate some heat. I'm hoping you have air conditioned tents, misters, and passed ice water trays and such, and these paper fans aren't the only means for your guests to cool down?

Agreed. I'm from South Florida and you can't pay me to sit outside in a halfway decent attire for a wedding for longer than 10 minutes. Arguably dry heat is different than wet/humid heat, but after looking up the average high for June in Phoenix is 102, no thanks.

I hope they also know that they are going to be outside? So they dress appropriately for the weather

I think the only way this could not be an issue at an outdoor wedding in the desert during summer is if the answer to my question above is 'yes'
The fans are really cute, well done. But if this is all guests get to cool down, they'll be cursing the paper fans rather than admiring them. My fiancé and I take a golf trip to Phoenix every summer and we tee off at 6:30 AM so that we can finish before 11 because any other time outdoors is kind of unbearable. This isn't to be a bitch, but so many brides don't take the necessary steps to ensure guests' comfort at outdoor weddings. And you'd have to take a LOT of precautions to make them comfortable.

I'm sure your weather will be okay - the fans are great. Just make sure your officiant makes the ceremony short and sweet. Your guests will love them.

I was born and raised in Arizona and the summers are MISERABLE. The only thing that made them tolerable for being still at extended periods of time was shade and misters. I went to a friends outdoor wedding in May in Arizona and almost passed out from the heat while standing at the alter (Bridesmaid). June and July are much worse, especially for out of state people.

The fans are cute though! I really like the font with your names!

Why is this not an issue? It's currently 101 degrees at 4 pm in Phoenix. Do you have other cooling operations in place?

Ceremony is in an entirely shaded location. Guests will come, stay indoors, be escorted out for the ceremony and right back in. Prior to the ceremony starting there will be industrial fans running to cool the area, but won't run during due to their noise. The rest of the evening will be inside, but a few cocktail tables set up outside if anyone wants to take their drinks out and enjoy the evening later.
