You guys may have seen this already, but it's a super sweet song IMO:

Re: Awwwww!

  • "Hello I am a huge AW and must sing live in front of everyone so they can see how amazing I am!"

If you must sing the processional song why not just record it?  Oh that's right, because then everyone may not know it was you singing.

  • Plus, the bride looks unimpressed and kind of annoyed.

Indeed, she does!  She looks like she had to hear that rehearsal 1000 times leading up to the day or she hears him singing like ALL.THE.TIME.  :-)

Or maybe that's her nervous IhopeIhavetheexpectedreactionwhilealleyesareonme face.

I do really like the song though.

  • Ya know, if I was at that wedding I would probably think it was really sweet when it happened. But watching a video that he/they uploaded to be all "look at me, look at me!!" really cancels out any of that sweet, heart felt emotion.

If you do something for your bide/groom on your wedding day bc you want to show your love that's one thing, when you do it so you can have someone video tape it and upload it for the world to see - then it's gross AWing IMHO. You shouldn't use your wedding to launch your career or up the clicks to your YouTube channel.

  • I saw in the article that the groom was going to sing "This I promise you" and was pretty disappointed when I didn't hear the sweet lyrics of the classic N'Sync ballad.

I'm assuming by "awwwwwww" you were just putting emphasis on the whoring part of attention whoring?

He seemed more jazzed to be singing in front of an audience than marrying her.  He literally sang the lyrics "When I look in your eyes all of my life feels before me" WITH HIS EYES CLOSED WHILE SHE FACED AWAY FROM HIM.  Like, hey dude, how about you shut your piehole and actually look into her eyes?

And I'm not big on having attention on me, and I don't care if anyone else isn't looking at me when I'm walking down the aisle, but I would be PISSED if my SO wasn't looking at me walking toward him because I'm sure as hell looking at him and it's probably the only thing keeping me sane.
