What's goin' on, WW?

Finally booked our summer trips (mountains in July, Hilton Head in August), and now I want to leave right this minute.

Rained at swim practice yesterday, but no thunder/lightning, so they didn't call it. There are a handful of big umbrellas around the pool area for shade, and all the parents/sibs were huddled under them, we looked pretty pathetic.

I'm off work. The kiddo's off at SIL's for the next week and a half and DefConn's at daycare. I'm probably going to go do some shopping and then catch Pitch Perfect 2.

2nd day in a row where birds have been total assholes. I was getting DefConn in the car and two flew right past me, coming with in a foot of my head. I felt the woosh from their flapping wings. I hate birds.

We're getting a new radio in our car Saturday!! w00t. No more crap radio that shorts out and leaves me in silence.

I cannot wait for Hilton Head next month. DH and I are so ready for vacation.

School is coming to an end and I'm finishing up end of the year stuff. I plan on jump starting my get fine program for the summer. Going to Cabo in July and a family reunion. That's about it.

I might volunteer again one day a week with my ESL class. I have a home project in the kitchen and just trying not to spend too much money since I'll be home. I am dangerous during the summer. My wallet seems to fly open as soon as I open the front door.

I feel horrible. My throat is sore, I'm coughing and I think I'm alternating fevers/chills. Awesome.

June just set up to be a horribly business month. I don't have time for this nonsense, so it'd better pass along soon.

Vacation in in 3 business days. I can do this!

Oh. I have another one.

I'm claiming something strange with this one. I've been working out at the gym in the mornings usually around 5:30. For about two weeks there has been a couple parked on the far end of the parking lot when I pull up. They are standing by their cars under a tree kissing like there is no tomorrow.

The first few times, I thought that maybe one of them works at the gym and was getting dropped off. However, I have never seen them walk in after me.

I'm claiming something fishy is up. Somebody's cheating.

Am I allowed to stop tomorrow and ask?

Today is just so-so. I was bombarded with questions about a project in a manner that didn't inspire me to help. So when I send your phone call to voicemail don't be surprised. I did get an apology, but seriously---chill your nuts and let me look into it before getting all hip-hoppity crazy.

Also, my excitement last night was mowing the lawn in 1:50. NEW LANDSPEED RECORD!

I have been doing research on hotels for baseball tournaments. Today I need to call around to get some info on burger basket type fundraising at bar & grills.

Tonight we have a travel baseball parent meeting and Son has a game.

My kids set up a pretend store at the playground. They are ordering milkshakes cake burgers and fries. Other kid just walked up and ordered white milk and kale chips. I'm the only parent here with 5 nannies. Not sure this one is for us

Hell yes. And another vote for cheating. Probably "I'm going to the gym" but they leave out the part about sucking on someone's face. So it's not technically a lie.

Dude little league is doing a tournament now. It adds a week to the season and there are only 5 teams! We'll have to miss the last game for dh's reunion. Unless they don't make it

Hello all! Add me to the sick list- I've got pink eye, bronchitis, and stomach issues from my antibiotics. So far, it doesn't seem like the kids have it. Fingers crossed they don't get it. And in other news, we might buy a new house. It's on a acre and a potential horse property. It's 5 minutes from DH's work and about 10-15 from DS's school. DH did a drive by today and we're in the process of setting up some time to look at the inside. But we have a lot of work to do to get our house ready to sell so there's that.

I'm sick too - i started getting a head cold/sinus infection/ear infection (not sure which) on Saturday afternoon - just in time for ~11 hours worth of flights back to the US on Sunday. I completely get babies freaking out on a plane when their ears won't pop - that shit is painful. i tried drinking water and chewing gum. nothing was helping. i still can't hear very well - maybe 50% in my left ear and 70% in my right. Giving it one more day then going to the doctor.

We had an amazing trip in the Baltic - and have plans to do another couple trip in the next year or so. (Just me and DK) DK may be doing some work travel in the next few months, so I'm hoping Wolverine and I can tag along on one of the trips. (Likely London or Geneva.) If the work thing falls through, I'm trying to plan something for the 3 of us at the end of the year. Wolverine keeps asking about going to the beach, so maybe an all-inclusive in Mexico.

We're only 1.5 weeks away from the new puppy coming home. We're going to visit this weekend to choose which little girl we want, and then picking her up next weekend. She'll be the same breed (bullmastiff) as Rogue, who died from cancer last year.
