How would you accessorise this dress?

Hi all,

My dress is below - it is Marta from David Tutera for Mon Cheri.

What jewellery would you wear with this dress? I have already bought a pair of crystal studs which I liked but am obsessing a bit over whether I should go all crystal, all pearl or a mixture of both? Even a pearl necklace but keep the crystal studs I have?

The dress is a little shimmery and has a crystal belt as you can see. I am actually leaning towards no necklace, crystal studs and a pearl and crystal comb - I fancy having a side hair do with a comb.

Or do you think a drop crystal necklace like the model has below, my crystal studs and then a pearl and crystal comb? I think I am worrying/obsessing so much over everything matching. I was leaning towards pearls as I thought it was classic bride and I have a lace dress! But then didn't want to wear a all pearl necklace with crystal earrings! I may get another pair or earrings and buy everything mentioned above, try it all on with my dress and then take back what I don't like...crazy bride much?? :)

    Very pretty dress!

    I am not a fan of wedding dresses with necklaces.  Usually the dress has a beautiful neckline and/or has a lot of detail so a necklace, to me, is just too much.

    I think your earrings sound perfect and then you could go with your idea of a crystal and pearl comb and maybe a simple crystal and pearl bracelet if you want.

    With your dress you don't need much.  Let the dress speak for itself.

    That is a gorgeous dress! I think a simple pearl necklace would be lovely. I actually think the necklace the model is wearing is too much. Crystal and pearl earrings would work.

    Thanks both - I'm in love with it! :)

    I think I am going to buy a pearl necklace and see how it looks with or without and stick with my instincts. I think with the belt, sparkly earrings, necklace and then hair comb would just look too much, especially when I don't wear much sparkle anyway.

    Another vote for no necklace.  Coco Chanel always says to take one thing off before you  leave the house...the point is to not overdo things.  If you wear everything, none of it will stand out.  I'd go for a pretty drop earring, perhaps a bracelet, and stop.

    The more I think about it, I agree with no necklace. I've seen a beautiful pair of drop pearl and crystal earrings with a hair comb/clip so will be purchasing those. I don't wear bracelets normally to be honest but if one catches my eye I may try it on with dress fittings and see how I feel.

    I love that dress! It is *kind of* similar to mine. I like the idea of no necklace. I went with a simply single pearl necklace so it didn't take away or overwhelm the neckline. If you do want a necklace maybe a solitaire diamond/crystal or pearl.
