My FI and I just found out earlier today that both our first AND second choices for our reception venue are booked for our date. We already have our caterer and synagogue booked, and we don't want to risk moving two vendors as opposed to one. We would prefer a park with a covered pavilion/shelter that could accomodate about 90 people. Our first two choices were Silas Condict Park and Hedden Park. Craigmuier Park is too expensive at $400 for the day. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Re: Help: Reception at a Park Pavilion
[QUOTE]Hey Bside! Have you been on this website yet? CLICKY I looked at some of the parks on there. Have you looked into Tourne County Park, Old Troy County Park, or Mahlon Dickerson Reservation? They're really pretty & have pavillions. Hope this helps a little!

TThat's the website we've been using. Tourne is booked, we asked already. My MOH will call re: Mahlon Dickerson today. The good news is, when we reserve, we have 30 days to pay for our permit, so we can reserve right away.
Oh jeez.
MOH calls every 40 minutes for over 4 hours, gets nowhere.
FI calls for a half hour during his break and gets through. We have a reception spot.
