Rio Presidential Suite

Hi, myself and husband to be are looking at an in-suite reception at the Rio Presedential suite, flying over from London next June.

Has anyone stayed here or can anyone recommend this suite for around 60 guests?

OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT DO ANYTHING AT THE RIO.

The Rio is an all-suites property. They have two towers, a shitty pool (don't let Groupon lie to you) and the weirdest casino floor. I've stayed at the Rio because I had to for work (trade shows at the hotel), and it's absolutely god awful. It's trapped in the 90s, except it's like slummin' 90's.

My most recent experience involved a door that didn't lock OR close in to the hotel room, a safe that was broken, a TV that was unhooked and when you hooked it up, it knocked everything off of sensors in the mini-bar (charging everything to my boss's credit card), a shower that backed up, phones that went down (leaving me no way to get in touch with suppliers), and countless other issues.

Yes, Voodoo has great views of the strip at night. No, you should not go there. Go to Ghostbar at the Palms if off-strip views are high on your priorities.
